Course overview
The TQUK L2 qualification will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the principles of sustainable development, communities and energymanagement, and the social responsibility of businesses in relation to sustainability. Learners will also look at the principles of
waste management and sustainable transport and applying sustainability in their own setting through zero waste.
In addition throughout the course, you will gain knowledge on ways that individuals and businesses can take to become more sustainable to protect the planet.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
How is it assessed?
Learners must successfully complete six units in the qualification for a total of fifteen credits.
The units are as follows:
Unit 1: Principles of sustainable development
Unit 2: Principles of sustainable communities
Unit 3: Principles of sustainable energy management
Unit 4: Social responsibility of businesses in relation to
sustainability
Unit 5: Principles of sustainable transport
Unit 6: Principles of sustainable energy management
Optional Unit:
Unit 7: Sustainability applied in own setting.
You will study via an online portfolio using a range of supplied resources. An individual tutor will be allocated to you, and they will support you throughout your learning journey.
When studying online, you will be given a login to
access your portfolio and submit your answers based
on the information in the workbooks
All workbook reading and assessments can be
accessed online via your computer or tablet device.
