Course overview
The introductory course will give you the confidence to progress onto the Step up to GCSE Maths course. While attending the introductory course you will complete an initial assessment to provide you with your 'working at' level. The main topics within the course will be number work (whole number, decimals, and fractions) as well as shape and measures (units of measure, areas, volumes etc).What else do I need to know?
Please note that courses run subject to minimum viable class sizes. Please note there may be additional costs for books, materials or other expenses.What are the entry requirements?
You will need to complete a formal interview prior to starting the introductory course,. During the interview you will need to demonstrate a good level of maths skills through an online assessment.
How is it assessed?
Towards the end of the introductory course you will undertake a GCSE entry test.

What can I do next?
After successfully passing the GCSE entry exam, demonstrating excellent attendance, good results on your initial assessment and excellent work commitment, you will be offered a place on the GCSE mathematics course.
