Course overviewThis full-time programme aims to further develop Chef’s skills in Advanced Food Preparation & Cooking in order to open up career prospects in the kitchen as a sous or a head chef. It also helps develop supervisory skills.

Some students may find they are eligible for student support funding and would need to contact student support prior to commencement of their programme.
During your course you will go on a 3/4 day residential to either a location in this country or abroad. Throughout your programme you will go on numerous trips. You will have opportunities on your course to attend industry placements.

What financial support is on offer?
College Maintenance Allowance (CMA): Anyone with a household income under £23,000 can receive up to £20 per week financial support to help pay for travel and meals and meet the costs of essential trips, books, stationery and equipment. The payments will be subject to full attendance on your course. A range of other financial support is available, depending on your personal circumstances.
