Course overview
This level 1 course is ideal for those who have an interest in floristry.It is offered on a part-time basis and provides you with different techniques and skills to prepare floral arrangements for different occasions
The course consists mainly of practical activities, although students are required to complete three assignments during the course.
What else do I need to know?
You will need to supply your own materials for each individaul arrangements completed in every lesson.Tools required - floristry scissors, secateurs and wire cutters (All students to source own tools)
Sundary items required:- Stem Tex, selection of floristry wires, string and fixing tape (all available from the College at a small cost)
What are the entry requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements this course. The course is open to any individual who has an interest in floristry.
How is it assessed?
No exams.
Students are continually assesed with each design created on a weekly basis

Upon successful completion of the course you will be able to progress onto a Level 2 course dependent of your previous attendance and submitance of assignment work.
