Whether you are an individual looking to gain an exercise studies qualification for personal or professional reasons, or an employer looking for exercise studies training for staff, this exercise studies online course has you covered.

Our Level 1 Exercise Studies course aims to promote an understanding of personal health and well-being and improve exercise performance. It covers a broad range of subjects such as nutrition, safety factors, training programmes and more.

Exercise and fitness is important for everyone to maintain their health and well-being, and for anyone looking to improve their mental health or lose weight. Training in these subjects are particularly important for anyone working in the fitness industry such as personal trainers and fitness instructors.

This qualification will:
- Focus on the study of exercise and fitness
- Offer breadth and depth of study, incorporating a key core of knowledge
Provide opportunities to acquire a number of practical skills
- Enable learners to progress to further study and/or career development

What are the entry requirements?

No formal entry requirements. Online access to materials will be required

How is it assessed?

The course will provide an online learning and assessment portal to support learners through assessments on exercise, fitness, practical skills and career development.

Each learner must create a portfolio of evidence generated from appropriate assessment tasks which
demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes associated with each unit
