Course overview
This short introductory programme aims to provide adult students with an overview of themes to be covered in greater depth and detail on our Level 2 Gateway Certificate in Creative Industries (Fashion Production) course after half term. Subjects covered will include, design research, creative mood boards, fashion illustration and basic pattern cutting.What else do I need to know?
This course is mandatory for any student who wished to study for and gain a Level 2 qualification.What are the entry requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements for this college certificated course, but you should have a keen interest in fashion design and be willing to try out new techniques and processes.
How is it assessed?
Informally and positively, via one to one feedback and guidance on a session by sesssion basis.

What can I do next?
This introductory course is an ideal platform for students who are looking to extend their fashion design and making skills, before moving on to our Level 2 Certificate. On completion of the Certificate, students could apply for our HNC Fashion and Textile Design programme.
