Course overview

This course is perfect if you currently do not work within the electrical industry but may wish to do so and it will develop your understanding and skills of electrical installation. It does not require occupational evidence from the workplace, so is suitable if you do not work within the electrical industry. Learn about environmental technology systems Learn about electrical installation design Learn about electrical science and principles Learn about electrical installation craft Learn about inspection, testing, commissioning Learn about diagnosing and correcting electrical faults

What are the entry requirements?

Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation
GCSE A*- C (4-9) or equivalent in Mathematics and English

How is it assessed?

This course will be assessed by an online exam and assignments and practical tests followed by a final synoptic assessment.

What financial support is on offer?

If you are 19-23, it is your first Level 3, and are studying an SFA approved Level 3 programme you may be eligible for full fee remission.
You can apply for an Advanced Learning Loan or Higher Education Loan to help with the costs of your course if you are 19 or older and the course you are studying is an eligible Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 course.
*This is at the Colleges discretion.
