Course overview

Are you thinking about a future working in education?
Want to work with children and young people of all ages?
Our Level 3 T-Level in Education & Childcare course will give you the foundation you need to set you on the path towards your ideal career. Focussing on working with children aged 0-19, the T-Level qualification combines learning in the classroom with gaining vital ‘on-the-job’ experience. As part of the two-year course, you will gain core knowledge of subjects such as supporting education, health and wellbeing, safeguarding and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), as well as developing a range of technical and practical skills that employers are looking for.

What else do I need to know?

T-Levels are a brand-new, 2-year qualification that you can study as an alternative to a traditional vocational programme. They bring classroom learning and an extended industry placement together on a course designed with businesses and employers.

What are the entry requirements?

You'll need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including maths and English Language, in subjects that are relevant to the course you'd like to study.

How is it assessed?

You will be assessed through written and practical
examinations, employer projects, group work, presentations and analysis. You will also be observed and assessed in the workplace
