The renowned Shire Hall Gallery has re-opened especially to house the Collegeās prestigious art exhibition which has risen in popularity over the years and expects to welcome hundreds of visitors keen to view the work of some of the most talented students in and around Staffordshire.
Ryan Hutchinson, who is in his second year on the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production at Stafford College, said: āI was interested in filming and editing before starting the course at Stafford College and wanted to improve my skills to pursue a career in the media industry. Working as part of a team for the final exhibition has enabled me to gain experience behind the camera as well as in front of it. Shooting and editing the scenes were exciting as we chose to use advanced equipment such as Drones and stabilisers to make the scenes more cinematic. The process also allowed me the chance to show my editing abilities.ā
Mike Kelly, Group Head of Creative Arts and Media at NSCG, said: āOur annual Art Exhibition is known locally as a visual extravaganza and weāre thrilled weāve been able to return to the Shire Hall Gallery to exhibit. We have some brilliant students at Stafford College, who will go on to forge exciting careers in the UKās creative industries. Our end-of-year exhibition is a great way for them to showcase their creativity and celebrate their achievement with the local community.ā
The College offers art, design and media courses at various levels, including A Levels and vocational qualifications targeted to schools leavers and university-level courses targeted to adults.
Our students love being a part of NSCG and together weāre always sharing their college experiences and achievements for everyone to see, and more importantly, for you to see. Their world. Their freedom. Their joy. Their life. Their excitement. Make it yours. #MyNSCG
