Students studying on the Level 2 AAT Certificate in Accounting are celebrating today, after receiving outstanding assessment results. The students performed extremely well in their most recent assessment, Using Accounting Software, with 78% of the class achieving a mark in excess of 90% and a third of the group achieving the highest possible 100% mark.

Mark Radden, Accounting Lecturer from Stafford College, said: “I'm especially pleased that in my first year at Stafford College, we have achieved this outstanding result. It is very well deserved by a group that has been working extremely hard towards this success, getting to grips with a challenging subject matter. I was already proud of the group after excellent results in December but with a lot of dedication they have now managed to outperform peers across the country. Well done everyone!”
Student Emma Westley, said: “I am really pleased with my progress. I chose Stafford College primarily for the high standards of the courses and the subjects available for me. I take advantage of extra class time on parts of the course I found difficult and have always been happy with the support I’ve received from the Lecturers when I’ve needed help. I live very close to Stafford College and as a disabled student, Stafford College was the only choice for me, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to gain further education.”
Stafford College offers a wide range of accountancy courses and qualifications, ideal for those already working in an accounting role or looking to progress in to a career in this field. Click here to find out more.
