Stafford College invites learners to next Virtual Open Event

The Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ college will be ‘virtually’ opening its doors once again to prospective students and their families in order to give them a taste of what it’s like to study at one of the country’s top performing colleges.

NSCG are currently unable to invite visitors onto campus due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, but just like the usual Open Event, visitors to the online event will be able to explore the top-class facilities on offer, live chat with teaching staff, hear from NSCG’s Principal, get an overview of the outstanding student support available, and apply for a course.

As part of the Virtual Open Event, the College will be launching their brand new 360° virtual tour which will offer a whistle-stop tour of the key learning and social spaces, giving everyone a real feel for the campus. Learners will also have the chance to chat online to current students, who will be on hand to answer questions about life at Stafford College. The College’s Hair and Beauty team will be getting creative in the salon and the LEGO^® Education team will be showing off the first-class technology available to students, all by delivering live subject demonstrations.

Our Virtual Open Events are just one of the many steps we’re taking to ensure that we’re on hand to offer advice and guidance, so that learners looking to join us in September 2021 feel confident in choosing the right course, at the right level.”

NSCG is the first further education provider in England to achieve the top grades in every area of Ofsted’s reformed Education Inspection Framework (EIF). Ofsted’s inspection report, published on 14 November 2019, praises all areas of the College’s provision and acknowledges NSCG’s ‘positive, stimulating and safe learning environment’, ‘highly motivated staff’, and ‘learners’ exemplary behaviour and attitudes to learning’.

At NSCG’s Stafford College campus, learners can study every-type of post-16 qualification possible, including A Levels, vocational qualifications and apprenticeships, which can all be studied in a wide-range of subjects, all designed to prepare you for life in the workplace or university.
