On Friday 8 July, Newcastle College hosted VCCP Media for the final round of their advertising competition.
Students on the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Graphic Design courses from Newcastle College, Stafford College and The City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College presented ideas for an advertising campaign to VCCP Media. The goal was to create and design a new campaign for EasyJet, encouraging Italian and Spanish holidaymakers to visit Staffordshire, showing the county as a top tourist destination in the UK.
The students from Stafford College came out on top, with their “Easy to Visit, Hard to Forget” campaign being chosen as the winning pitch of the competition.
Congratulations to the team from Stafford; Ross Burlington, Chloe Hope, Jess Hankin and Toby Walton-Sanders for all their hard work and creating a great campaign.
