Accounting students who joined Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group as part of the 2019/20 cohort have achieved above average results in their Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Synoptic assessments.
64 Level 4 students took their exams, and after lots of hard work and dedication to the course achieved a pass rate of 81%, exceeding the national average of 58.9% for the December 2019 exam and 60.10% for the June 2020 exam.
38 of our Level 3 learners continued this success with a pass rate of 81.65 compared to the 57.8% national average. Meanwhile, 12 Level 2 students achieved a phenomenal pass rate of 91.7% (86.3% national average).
The AAT use exam based assessments to ensure students have a in-depth understanding of the subject areas they are studying. NSCG is always so proud to be able to see our students hard work and dedication paying off in the form of these outstanding results, especially as many of these students will be in employment, using their skills and knowledge learnt at College to progress in their careers.
