Level 2 and 3 Hospitality and Catering students at Stafford College were treated to an inspiring virtual visit in the form of First Dates Maître d'Hôtel, Fred Sirieix.

Fred Sirieix best known for appearing on Channel 4's First Dates, and BBC Two's Million Pound Menu, grew up in France and trained to work in front of house in a Michelin-starred restaurant before working at La Tante Claire in London. Until 2019 he was the general manager of Michelin-starred restaurant Galvin at Windows at the London Hilton, where previous students at Stafford College have had the pleasure of completing work experience placements.

Fred spoke to our students about his progression from catering college to managing some of the UK's best restaurants and hotels, as well as touching on his TV career and a few of his upcoming projects.

Amazing! Thank you so much Fred for giving up your time to inspire our students.
