As part of their 'Running an Event' unit at college, ten students studying on our Supported Internship programme at Stafford College, have being fundraising for Katharine House Hospice.

Katharine House Hospice provides care for the families of mid-Staffordshire, with services free of charge they rely on the kindness and generosity of the local community to help generate the funds needed to continue caring for their patients.

Their aim is to enable our patients with life limiting condition and those close to them to live life as fully as possible and make the most of the time that they have.

Along with the support of NSCG Foundation Studies Lecturer, Lucy Symes and Job Coach, Paula Moore, students embarked on a challenging walk starting from Stafford College to Stafford Castle and back, managing to raise an incredible £364 in the process for the Hospice.
