Members of the public are invited to view a range of displays showcasing work produced by talented art, design and media students from Newcastle College, part of Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) at the private viewing of SHOW, tomorrow, from 6pm until 8pm.

Visitors attending the private viewing of the annual exhibition, hosted at the College’s Knutton Lane campus, will get a sneak peek of the impressive work on display at this year’s Art Exhibition, titled SHOW, as well as have the opportunity to see the College’s fashion show which will place at 6.30pm.

The exhibition has risen in popularity over the years and is set to welcome hundreds of visitors, keen to view the work of some of the most talented students in and around Staffordshire. It encompasses all creative subjects from Newcastle College’s creative faculty, which includes fashion, film, illustration, 3D design, fine art, ceramics, graphic design, media, photography and textiles.

The end-of-year Art Exhibition, will open to the public on Thursday 21 June at 10am until 6pm and then will be open on the following days:

Friday 22 June: 10am - 4pm Saturday 23 June: 10am - 12noon Monday 25, Tuesday 26 & Thursday 28 June: 10am - 6pm Wednesday 27 & Friday 29 June: 10am - 4pm

Mike Kelly, Group Head of Creative Arts and Media at NSCG, said: “Our annual Art Exhibition is known locally as a visual extravaganza. We have some brilliant students at Newcastle College who will be go on to forge exciting careers in the UK’s creative industries. Our end-of-year exhibition is a great way for them to showcase their creativity and celebrate their achievement with the local community.”

Newcastle College is renowned for its Art, Design and Media courses at various levels, including A Levels, vocational qualifications and apprenticeships targeted to schools leavers and university-level courses targeted to adults.
