The Andy Griffin Football Academy is available at both Newcastle and Stafford Campuses. When you're not showing off your skills on the pitch, you'll be showing us what you're made of in the classroom.

In choosing NSCG, you can rest assured you have decided to study at the best college in Staffordshire and one of the top further education colleges in the UK.

You can follow one of three routes:

Vocational Routes

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport Development, Coaching and Fitness

BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sport

A Level Route

Choose to study 3 A levels from 21 subject areas*.

If you want to take the A Level route, you can choose to study 3 of the below subjects:

It's all about how you apply yourself! If you can give 100% in training and on the pitch, you can expect to have a great team spirit and become part of a squad, who will work hard to support each other no matter what.

Future Tactics - So what's next?

You are totally in control of your next move. You might decide to pursue your academic interests and apply to a University. You might be offered a job in this field or get an Apprenticeship in fitness, leisure or sports. Or you may land a professional contract. Whichever one of these routes you decide on, you can be sure that you'll be able to put into practice everything you have learnt over the last two years.

A little extra

You’ll also get the chance to up your game by studying for a Level 1/2 FA Coaching Badge* – which will really set you apart from the competition when it comes to working in the industry. And to put everything you’ve learnt into practice, you’ll be given opportunity to coach primary schools and work with the next generation of footballing talent.
