Our Facilities

Newcastle College has been recognised as one of the top colleges in the country for football development, which means we’ve been lucky enough to secure investment from the Football Association and English Colleges FA to develop our grassroots footballing talent.

We’re also a national hub for refereeing and give all students the chance to undertake their basic referee qualification. There’ll be plenty of chances to play in pre-season friendlies and competitive fixtures in both league and regional/national cup games. You’ll be representing Newcastle College in the ECFA league - category 1,(only 5% of colleges in the country can play at this nationally recognised standard), and the ECFA league - category 2. And for the best of the best, there’s the opportunity to get seen by the talent scouts at regional and national trials.

First Class Facilities:

We’re known for our facilities for miles around. Whatever the weather, our full size 3G Astroturf pitch is home to many games and training sessions, and our three grass pitches mean we’re never short of a place to play. And if we need to take your training inside, you’ll be using our indoor sports hall or health and fitness centre.
