GCSE Results & Enrolment

On GCSE Results Day (Thursday 25 August 2022) when you come to enrol at either Newcastle or Stafford College. If you have applied to the College already, you will be invited onto campus on Thursday 25 or Friday 26 August 2022, where you'll need to bring your results slips for all your GCSE qualifications and any other previous qualifications you may have attained.

If you haven't yet applied to study at NSCG, don't worry - there is still time! Simply pop into either Newcastle College or Stafford College on Thursday 25 or Friday 26 August between 9.30am and 4.30pm and speak to our expert staff.

If you've lost your enrolment letter sent to you with your date and time to enrol, you can come to enrol at either of our campuses at any time Monday - Friday from 9.30am - 4.30pm, starting on Thursday 25 August. Just speak to a member of staff and we'll be happy to help.

If you do not achieve the exam results you were hoping for, it is important you still attend your enrolment and we will help you to enrol on to another suitable course. We offer a number of courses at different levels, so do not worry, there will be a course for you at the College.

If your exam results are better than you had expected (well done you!), we will refer you to a suitable course depending on your grades.

Speak to us on your enrolment slot provided on your letter and we will be able to help advise and finalise your choices.

Sure! Don't worry if you've changed your mind. If you meet the entry requirements and there are available places on the other course you'd like to enrol on, we'll make that happen. It is important that you attend your enrolment or visit the College in person to do this.

On applying for your course, you will have been issued a letter from your faculty administrator detailing how to purchase clothing for your course if required. If you have not received this or have made a late application, speak to a member of your subject staff at your enrolment for details.

The first day of the new academic year in September will be Monday 5 September. When enrolling onto your course, you will be given a day and time to attend. Your first day at college will be specific to your chosen course and group, so your first day at college may be after Monday 5 September, but it will be one day that week.

On your first day at college, you'll also be given your timetable.

If you're soaking up the sun or have an important commitment you can't rearrange, you need to do the following:

Check whether you still need to send a copy of your GCSE results to either NSCG or Staffordshire University - we'll have told you if you need to do this. You'll then receive a letter through the post containing your start date, which is usually week commencing Monday 12 September.
